anybody have any luck with this cap card? it's a tv tuner hw mpeg1/2 en/decoder card. looks pretty good according to its specs...

This card card can encode to Mpeg in real-time from a External
analog source. (like a VCR)
But what about from a file-sets of vobs on the HD?
If it can, does it do it much faster than CCE on 2GHZ+ AMD?

Looks like a streammachine card, stay away from it! Lousy drivers and even the SDK is badly written...

This card is based on streammachine SM2210 (Cirrus Logic CS92210). Even though the drivers are not the best, it manages to capture very good at DVD frame rate.
Use it with Provideo 256T drivers because they are a lot better and with fewer problems then the Kworld ones.
I been using it for a while in Win Me and XP and it is just fine:
