  1. I have a couple of DVD's I'm authoring with motion menus with ac3 sound, a number of videos etc. and want to also add some slideshows on a separate menu, with a predefined time per photo, and allowing use of the remote to advance to next picture or go back to previous.

So far, I have been creating a slideshow using Premiere, encoding to MPEG2, and then adding chapter points in DVDMaestro. This is OK, coz I can choose my own transitions and music but I can only have max 99 chapter points. It's also very tedious to setup all the chapter points.

The methods on this site for slideshows all seem to be for VCD, and most are for discs that have only pictures. Any advice is appreciated

    Thanks,

If you have more than 99 stills, just create a new movie in maestro.

You can also import pictures directly to the timeline, and place a chapter mark after each still. You can stretch or shrink the default playback time of 5secs too.

Just edit the playback controls in the conections settings to have movie 1 chapter 99 end action point to movie 2 chapter 1.

  4. Thanks for the reply. I thought I tried importing stills and it didn't work. I'll have another go and see.

    Cheers,
