It is not only Nero burned VCD that seem to have this problem. I have 2 VCD burned by a SONY CD-R using SONY software and it to comes up with the "drity disk" message.
However, on other computers, I have found other messages being provided after a minute or so of playing. Link, for example, "non valid pack size," or even have the VCD become labled a Audio CD!

Posting messages to this (and other) forums has of yet not be answered, but, accourding to a reply I got from the owner of the "andy's Digital Video Info Page." The problem may lie in a corruped FAT on the hard drive. I don't know how that could be the problem, and I am awaiting his reply for the answer.
If I get one I'll post it here.
In the meantime it won't hurt to run Scan Disk (using the thorough setting).
    Post what you find.
