  1. I have an 82 minute movie that I am putting on VCD. Rather than spreading it over two VCDs I was thinking of slighty dropping the bitrate to 1100 (from whitebook 1150) to allow the entire movie to fit on one 80 minute CDR. The quality drop is not really noticable.

My question is, will this VCD still be compatible with all the standalone players that can play in-spec VCDs? I know that technically it is not whitebook, but I thought the real limitation was in going to high of a bitrate and not to low.

    Thanks,

  2. Got a better idea for ya, Do You have a CompUSA Store around you, go get the new 99min. CD-R's, I have used them up to 98min. on them and they work great, even in DVD players that play back VCD's and SVCD's.
    Plus I have Overburned 82min. on a 80min. standard CD-R with using NERO 5.5.
    CompUSA sells a 16 pack for $9.99.

I just used Sefy's template today for the first time...it worked great! 92 minutes on one cd. I need to mess around with the settings a bit, but I am happy.

    Thanks, Sefy!
