    I also have a Sampo DVE-620 rev. 3.4b and I can't make the FF or REW work either. I tried the SCANDATA.DAT file like everyone says, but it still doesn't work.
    I sure wish there was a way to make it work!!!

    Is there a site devoted to this player (Sampo DVE-620) where we could get help???

    I would suggest as your last hope using VCDImagerGUI to create an image file. Then in Nero select burn image and choose the *.cue file VCDImagerGUI has created - if this too doesn't work (which would be very strange indeed) go to http://www.area450.co.uk which has a forum and deals with Sampoo DVD Players and all it's erbadged models such as Afreey, Encore etc.
