  1. can anybody help me, when i burn a VCD it doesnt matter if i use TMPGEnc or Panasonic MPEG Encoder or Ulead Video Studio5 to encode my Mpegs, i still get the same result, the picture is Patchy Blocks over it, and the occasional popping sound on the Audio. I use NTI CD Maker Pro 3, to burn my CD'r. i have so far tried 4 different types of CDr not sure if it is them that is causing the problem. VCD's that i buy play perfectly no problem at all. if you can help or shed some light on this i would be greatfull for your imput.

When you encoded your .avi file with TMPGenc did you load VCD(Ntsc or Pal) template?
If yes, then try burn your .mpeg file with Nero and don't forget to choose VCD option on Nero.
    I hope help you.

In this page go to "HOW TO" (on left side - green column) and double click on CONVERT. After you double click on "How to encode to VCD with TMPGEnc beta 12e+". Follow the instructions and you'll understand what I want to say about LOAD VCD(PAL or NTSC)TEMPLATE.
    Good luck!
