Problem with pauses

Hi. I am using Raptor Edit to capture my old VHS tapes, going through Canopus ADVC50 converter to my hard drive. However after capture using seemless and I get 9minute 26second batches, settings to zero seconds between batches, after the burn, using Nero 5.5 when I go to play I get a 5 second pause between one batch finishing and the next batch starting.
Anyone got any ideas, even a different capture software program.

It sounds like you are running into a problem where the file is not continous. What OS are you using? If you look at the disk while playing, does it give you many chapters, or many titles. I'm betting many titles.

Any way, having your captured file in one contiguous file would be best. You would need to have your hard drive formatted as NTFS. And your capture software configured to so that it will not split your file.

I am using Win 98 SE.
Everthing works fine, the capture in batches of 9minutes, 26 seconds using Raptor Edit, burn process is fine also, when I go to play or watch the VCD's at the 9 minute 26 second mark there is a 5 second pause then it carries on in the next batch of 9minutes 26 seconds then does it again.
I can decide how long each batch is,but 9min 26 is the max.
Everthing works ok just this stupid 5 second pause every 9 minutes, it must be somewhere in the settings.

In Nero, click on each file that you are burning (After you have dragged them over, and select properties. Make sure there isn't a 5sec delay after (or maybe it was before, I can't recall) finish or something similar set. I think that may be they problem.
