    Hi,

I have a PCTV rage and it works really fine with VDUB. Instead of the pinnacle WDM drivers (which does not support all resolutions) I use the 'generic' conexant WDM driver by Illusion Hope which really works great BUT: there is no way to select the tv channel for capturing in VDUB (except manually of course in 'capture mode - video source').
Is there a way in Win 2k with WDM drivers to select the TV channel before starting VDUB? or maybe within vdub? I'd like to do timer triggered capturing with VDUB but without beeing able to select the channel for recording it doesn't make much sense.

    Greets,

Launch your tv-application and select the channel you want to capture from. Exit your tv application. Open VD and start capturing

    Hi Keitaro,

thanks for your reply. Already tried it, but did not work. Starting VD and entering the capture mode the channel is always set to the same - driver default? - channel. It seems to be a WDM-driver 'feature' I heared that in Win 98/ME with the other driver model (VfW or whatever) it works like you explained..

    Thx anyway,
    MigueliTo

BtW I use the 'TV-Station' (Globe-TV, KNC-ONE) TV Software because the pinnacle Software/WDM-drivers collide with the generic conexant WDM-driver. Any suggestions regarding a TV appl which works via WDM drivers? And which maybe sets the channel in a way the driver keeps it until VD ist started..?
