  2. Anyone wanna join my DVD!RW consortium? We aim to develop a new DVD format to be compatible with even more standalone players, and to develop the new DVD!R/!RW media.
    We may also join other groups who can find suitable mathematical/arithmetic symbols to use in thir DVD format definition. WE would certainly like to hear from the DVDjRW group who are developing a complex version of the DVD format.

  3. The proof is when it actualy hits the shelves. The DVD+ group have been promessing for the last few years its comming but nothing. Hope its so! Getting tired of a stack of CD for backup.

    Hum. Bulk blanks from Apple, the DVD-R disk are 50 for 5 making them 10 each.

    Agree totally with NightWing. The DVDplus.org have been making several comments about their product which I would like to see proven before I believe it. Most of all the statement "fully compatible" interests me, as the DVDDemystified site actually says it's the media not the recording method that makes a DVD playable/recognizable (like our current problems with various CD-R(W)'s.

    Until then I remain a sceptic <grin>

  5. Can only be a good thing though in helping drive prices down and specifications up. Plus giving the consumer a greater choice.
