  1. I have a video producer friend who wants me to take DVD's that he burns on an external DVD recorder (Pioneer, I think), add menus, and burn copies. I've downloaded SmartRipper, AC32WAV, and Ulead DVD Workshop Trial. Is there a step-by-step tutorial to do this? I've tried numerous times, but it seems that either I can't get the audio to work, video looks fine for a while, then seems to fast forward, etc. Should I rip the DVD into separate V/A streams or leave it multiplexed? Should I merge all of the VOB's into one and rename it to MPG? If I can get this working, I'll buy DVDWS, as it seemed to have the best functionality of the software I've tried. Or, if anyone has suggestions on other software to use for this. I'd like to be able to have motion menus and prefer not to reencode the video, as all I'm doing is adding the menus. Thanks for any suggestions.

  2. I would say that separate A/V and use DVDmaestro... there is plenty of guides out there... like in www.doom9.org ...

  3. Adder_78,
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't see DVD Maestro on Spruce's site anymore. Where can I find it now? Thanks.
