I have a problem: I'm trying to create a SVCD with selectable subtitles (well, actualy my player don't let me turn them on or off or switch between multiple subs. I have no problem with that, but I don't want them permanently on the video). I'm converting the video and the audio and then multiplex with the subs using I-Author. When I play the disc on my video it works great, but I can usualy see only the upper side of the subtitles, the bottom is just filled with a big grey or yellow block. I know that is not a problem with the player since I got Lord of the Rings on 4 SVCD's from a friend (downloaded it from the net) and the subtitles in it look just fine.
I have tries to change every setting and tried to burn the disc with some programs, but it's allways the same problem. If anyone know this problem (?) and has any solution that will be just great.
