  1. Hi everyone, I have tried to make entrypoints with my homemade SVCD, but seem cannot get it to work with VCDImager.
I use Smartripper --> DVD2AVI --> TMPGenc to encode SVCDs. Everytime I run vcdxbuild, I got this warning and no entrypoints in my SVCD at all.
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset ': [00:00.2a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset ': [00:07.2b]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'previous_I_offset': [00:00.2a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset ': [00:00.3a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'backward_I_offset': [00:00.2a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'previous_I_offset': [00:00.3a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'backward_I_offset': [00:03.0f]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'backward_I_offset': [00:05.3b]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: from now on, scan information data errors will not be reported anymore---consider enabling the 'update scan offsets'
After a few time I demux those SVCD and remux again with BBmpg. Now entrypoints work but get a lot of side effects from remuxing SVCD such as out of sync at every entrypoints, picture show only 3/4 screen on TV.
So can anyone who success making entrypoints with SVCD please tell me how or what method to encode SVCD.

    Thanks a lot

  2. You should try tscv to generate the xml so that you have your chapters. works real well with svcd's.

Same thing happens with TSCV. I think my problem now is about vcdxbuild and my SVCD.

  4. Are you using TMPGEnc's default SVCD template?

  5. My setting is res 352x480, 23.976 fps, close GOP (1,5,2,1) in TMPGenc 12a, and my player is APEX 660 AD

I have tried SVCD default template in TMPGenc without success no matter what setting I tried to use.

BTW I can make entrypoints using VCDIMAGER 7.7-9 with all my VCDs.
