  1. Hey, i'm using Nero to burn my VCD's/CD's and i'm not able to burn them. When I go to burn a VCD/CD it stops between 60%-70% I ran ASPICHK.EXE and all of them are updated but it says "ASPI is properly installed, but one of the helper drivers has failed to initialize. (0xE3)" Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? The brand of my burner is a Acer. Any help will be appreciated.

Firstly, to solve the aspi problem - run forceaspi.

To solve the Nero problem, uninstall Nero then reinstall.

    Should solve your problem!

  5. Okay, I got the forceaspi to work. But I still can't burn anything. I get the error message at 67% it says SCSI/IDE Command Aborted. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Also I found this on the Nero site, but i'm not that great with computers, can someone explain to me how to fix my problem by reading this http://www.nero.com/en/content/helptool/229.htm#o229

    Thanks,
    Mike

I would put Nero on shelf… Sure it’s a great burning program, but it’s a little weak for DVD and VCD’s (IMHO)

    Try this:

Download DVD Movie Factory Trial from Ulead and burn with that.

You can download a trial copy of DVD Movie Factory from
    http://www.ulead.com/dmf/runme.htm
    It’s about $45.00

  8. I just downloaded this program, and I get the same problem when it gets half way burned. Do you think its my burner? I was able to burn a Music CD with Real Jukebox, but I can't burn any Data CD's/VCD's/SVCD's. I've had this problem since the power went out while Nero was burning a VCD. Let me know what some of you people think.
