I've got the Sharp DV-710 which is a bit picky about playing VCD's.. only works once in a while and with just the right media. Apparently it plays DVD-R etc fine. I was wondering if it would be possible to burn my VCDs onto DVD-R or DVD-RW to fool the player? Sure, I should just get a DVD burner but I'm broke as hell..

Quick bit of info, You have to have a Dvd burner to burn anything to Dvd-r. You can't use Dvd-r with a Cd burner.
