Well starting to really loose my rag with scenarist!, basically I've got an .m2v file which is 3.8 gigs and a AC3 file which is 373 megs now this as you know totals to under 4.7 gigs(dvd-r) now everytime I use scenarist to author I get this error :-

Error WriteFile failed at sector 2096974, error 112
Error Disk may be full since failed in writing to disk: (C:\Documents and Settings\Star\Desktop\Scenarist Processed\mux_data\\e.scn-hungpd-t_t.vob)
Error dvd_mux : DoMux Multiplexing Error
Error Terminated Multiplexing (e.scn-hungpd-t_t.vob).
Error Can't write output file. Please check the disk space.
Error Multiplex is failed.
Info Multiplexing failed, Track<hungpd-t>

Error MuxFromDB:MuxVTS failed
Error Multiplex failed
Error DVD files could not be created

Firstly I thought that my Hard Drive was full, turns out theres over 50 gigs free. Now if the error is refering to the parameters of the DVD-r well again the m2v and ac3 totals under 4.7gigs so it can't be that.

Then I thought there could be a problem with my PC so I transfered the .m2v and AC3 files to my second PC which also has scenarist installed on it and the same error happened.

Now I know what thinking... theres gotta be a problem with either the m2v or AC3 file, well no! cos this happens most of the time with other m2v files.

What I have noticed though which I THINK could be related to the problem is:
When using CCE to create the m2v file, to avoid getting the error in scenarist If I was to keep the average bitrate in multipass to about 3500bps it predicts a file size of 3.3gigs, then scenarist seems to author the VOBs error free!!! this is no good to me as I want to set the average bitrate higher to get better picture quality specially when I know theres gonna be space left on the DVD-r, so I'd set the average to about 4500bps and the m2v file created is about 3.8 gigs big which then is guaranteed to fail with that shit scenarist error for whatever reason!

Will someone please tell me that the hell I'm doing wrong.

this is a cry for help
