  1. I am trying to figure out how to break an MPEG into several chapters for burning to VCD format.
Is the best way to break the file into chapters before loading the files into Nero or WinOnCd for burning? In that case, what utility would work best to break the file apart in equal time piece chapters.
Or, can you configure Nero or WinOnCD to automatically break apart the MPEG into chapters before it burns the VCD?
It’s something I haven’t done before, but I would like to figure out how to do it so I don’t have to fast forward through the whole move to get to where I left off.

    Thanks,

Or use VCDeasy and select chapters and just enter timecode, frames, or let vcdeasy set a breakpoit every n seconds/minutes/frames or n evenly distributed chapters.

  3. Also, by chopping up an MPEG file into several files is not the way to make chapters. You are only making a multitrack VCD.

Like vitualis said, chopping up an mpg file into seveal files is not the way to make chapters. And also you will see slightly pause everytime your dvd-player plays new track.

Search in this forum you will find alot of post about Chapter, better yet you would learn how to make MENU for you movie as well. Nice forum, eh?
