Help - Nero - Burns Iso CD but not VCD / AUDIO CD

I have been using my plextor 16x with Nero for the past 1 year and never had this problem. When I start burning Audio / Video CD (say 700 mb), it fills up the buffer upto 100 % and burning upto 4%. Then it hangs and the orange flickkering light in the burner stops and starts intermittently for few seconds. After this I have t o basically reboot my system. But I could burn a Iso CD with no problem .Could anyone help me to solve this one for me.

Could somebody help me out with my problem? Even I tried re-installing Nero?

first of all, be a little more patient waiting for an answer...the people on this board do have lives of their own.
second of all...you need to provide more information...which version of Nero, are you dropping an mpeg into it and having it do the rest, or are you making an image with VCDeasy?
I would suggest, make sure your version of Nero is up to date, use VCDeasy to make an image, mount the image with daemon tools, and do a CD copy. that method has never failed me, and I also use Nero.

Sorry for my impatience...

I am using Nero Version 5.5 .. I didn't had any problems so far...and i have never used cd easy so far...Basically i create my own mpeg's from tmgenc / firewire and burn it as vcd using plextor / nero. Similarly i make audio cd's out of the downloaded mp3's i have.

Couple of weeks before I used ulead picture show and made a vcd with all my photos with back ground music.. I am not sure whether that program has something to do with this problem as i started getting this problem only after this...
