divx to dvd

I have purchased the pioneer 104 burner last week and thought that i had converted 5 divx movies to dvd in mint condition,however i had only tested each one for a few mins and thought their were ok.Now i have come to watch one all the way through i have noticed problems being that 4/5 times during the movie it either freezes,slowsdown or speedsup for a couple of seconds.this happens on 2 of the movies i have watched all the way through.I thought it was the discs or burning process,however im begining to think it could be the authoring or encoding as the vobs i create also lockup when i play them in power dvd i have used tmpgenc to encode and ulead movie factory and dazzle dvd to author.Anyone out there had same problems or can anyone for that matter help as its driving me mad, ive even tried authoring without any menus or chapters but with same results...help please....spaceman

What did you use to convert DivX to DVD?

I used tmpgenc and i think that is my problem somthing to do with the gops.So i have just tried cinema craft and used closed all gops setting and done a little sample and the new vob i created runs nice and smooth in power dvd...........Spaceman
