  1. Greeting,

I am looking for help on "How to create a VCD for 300 digital photos (JPG)?".

I am using Nero but I already waste two CD-R.

I have been told that VCD can only hold 99 photos. Is that true???

    Thank you
    K.C.

  3. With Nero (5) you can only make 99 menu entries either by thumbnail or filename.

i have 360 foto's but i can not make menu's for all of them with Nero. So, i made a slideshow out of it, but that is not as convienient as thumbnail selection.

(To make a slideshow, copy all the jpg files from the file window to the VCD window in Nero and then select all of them, then rightclick and set the time to 5 seconds for example. Now it's a slideshow which shows each slide 5 seconds.)

Perhaps there is another program that can handle more than 99 images? maybe with submenu's or something..?

  4. The VCD format supports 1980 segment items so theorectically, you could have up to this many images on a VCD.

WinOnCD may be a better option compared to the poor authoring capabilities of Nero.

However, most of these proggies have problems when you start dealing with very complex PBC.

Thank you for all the reply.
Greg12, so...are you using Nero 5.x to put 145 pics in it??
I just put 250 jpg files in the Nero screen and it did burn the VCD for me but......My Pioneer 515 play all the way up to 25 pics and it stop. It cannot go Next or Perv.....either by remote or front panel control.

    Does anyone has any idea???

    Thank you all again.
