Hi guys,
DVD Workshop keeps reencoding the MPEG2 file I produced with TMPGEnc, even if I set bitrate value on DVDWS higher than the bitrate of my MPEG2 file.
Don´t know if this is a bug, or has to do with the file I encoded using TMPGEnc.
I have done this before, and DVD Workshop did not reencode.
It was just a matter of setting bitrate value HIGHER than the value of my MPEG2 file.
I have also tried setting the bitrate of audio to 224 as is my Original file, but with no luck.
Here are the Properties of my video file, as reported by DVDWS.
File Format :MPEG-2 (NTSC DVD), Field A
File Size : 902,370 KB
Duration : 883.050 Seconds
Video : attributes : 24 bits , 720 x 480
Frame Rate : 29,97 fps
Data Rate : 8000 kbps
Audio : Total samples : 42,386,386 samples
Attributes : 48000 HZ , 16 Bits, Stereo
Layer : 2
Bit Rate : 224 Kbps
Thank´s for any help.

Hi Philip,
You´ve got it. Right on the spot.
So, I just used Mpeg tools from TMPGEnc to cut out what I wanted.
Thank´s a lot.
