  1. when I burn a vcd using nero, the video is re-sized. the file looks great before burning but after the vcd is burned the video is "expanded" i.e. taller characters, words... i've checked the frame rate and I am selecting the correct version (pal or ntsc). any help would be greatly appreciated

  2. You happen to be encoding an AVI into VCD in NERO ? cause that might be your problem, you should use a more professional program like TMPGEnc to do the encoding, that way you can control the Wide Screen aspect of the movie.

  3. thanks for the tip, worked great, also the video quality was much better after the burn when I used tmpgenc, no problems with audio or with the aspect ratio, thanks again!
