To cut a long DVD into two parts for recording. The first one records fine. But the second part always has the audio out of sync. What am I doing wrong?
How do I fix it?

Make a note of where exactly your second video begins. Load the original video into Gold Wave. Delete the first part of the audio up to where you second video begins. Save the file as .wav. Use TMPGEnc using your second video as input video, and your new audio .wav file as input audio. The resulting file should give your second video with audio in synch.
