Ok, for CD-Rs what color is the bottom of a silver layer? Is it just like a normal data cd color(like the nero cd?)? And for CD-RWs, is 'black layer' the carbon black of a PlayStation CD, or can it just be dark greyish too? The reason I'm asking is that my DVD player sucks ass and blows chunks(GE 503p), and I wanna know what the entire 'layer' thing is about. Hopefully though, my dad will give in(and Best Buy restock)and just buy the Pioneer 343 player so I can play VCD I want.
