  1. I've been converting my AVI files to MPG so they can be put on a SVCD. Im using TMPGENC. Sometimes when I load the Audio and Video and start coverting when I go to burn it I get sounds for the first to seconds and stop. Then I try again and everything is fine. I was wondering what kind of problem am I running in to I mean I don't wanna keep wasting 6 hours out of my day just to make one SVCD. Someone please help me

I'm not sure that I understand what you mean. Do you mean that sometimes you loose the audio in the mpeg that you've created? Did you extract a wav file from the avi and use that as the audio source? Did you scan for bad frames (see link below)?
