I have the latest version of Nero Burning Rom and read the guide given here on How to make a Vcd 2.0 using Nero.I followed the exact instructions given in the guide.It says that u have to drag and drop videos in standard mpg(PAL OR NTSC) formats only,otherwise Nero gives a warning that the video clip is not in proper format etc.
    But the problem is that besides standard mpeg files, Nero even allows me to add ASF,WMV & AVI Files.It analyses them but shows no warning and adds them to the list.However,it doesn't add .RM(Real media)files.
    Why is this happening as Nero should not allow me to add any other file except standard MPEG FILES and should show a warning........
    I also have the "Create standard compliant Vcd" box checked. So that is not the problem...........
    Please Help!!

    Then why do you still want to add anything except fully compliant .mpg ?

    Select File > Preferences
    Check to see if something is switched off
