  1. why is it that when i try to burn a vcd using nero 5.5.2.4 its always asking me to save the vcd image , how can i get the video onto the cd ???

  2. maybe cause you don't have a cd writer or nero's current cd recorder is your image recodere.

  4. then why don't you check the currect cd recorder the nero is using.

    geez this things are so easy, anyone can figure this out, probably except for lazy people like you.

    guys this is a friendly post forum aint it?
    We are supposed to help each other- without this site and people asking and answering questions (silly or otherwise) I would have never gotten started.

    Anyway......
    Will NERO let you burn the image as a VCD, have you ever been able to do it using previous nero versions.
    I have noticed that my newest version of NERO 5 now takes ages to transfer video data to the mpeg folder on disc - I used to use 4.0.9.1 and it was very fast at this.
    Maybe your newer version of NERO needs to be set up in more detail.
    As the other man says are you telling NERO that you want to use the recorder to make a disc etc, I aint at home so I can't check all the options on mine but there is an option to use to tell NERO whether to use the burner or your hard drive (ie write an image file)
    Let me know cos I usually upgrade to newer versions of NERO every so often and wouldn't want to end up without the functionality.

  6. the version i was using 5.5.2.4 , is now saying that it only supports creative cd writers the one im using the now is LG and every time i clicked on burn cd it selected my dvd drive, now ive d/l version 5.5.0.3 and everthing seems to be working fine for now
