  1. Hi again! Its took me this long to get the hang of this capturing lark, and so tonight I decided to record a full movie off sky.

    I did this with IU-VCR, capturing off my PAL sky decoder in MJPEG (18 quality) @ 640x480 with audio recorded in 44.1khz 16bit PCM wav format. I`ve ended up with nearly a 10gb file.

    After playing about with MTV I found this was the best way to capture and then use Virtual dub to resize the video to 460x380 during encoding to DIVX format. I also run a de-interlace filter too during this process, and convert the audio into Lame 128k MP3. Fingers crossed i`ll end up with a 1.4gb avi!

    However I`ve noticed that as my film progresses the sound goes out of sync with the lips of the actors. How do I correct this during the encoding process?
