It'd help with a little more info............like what you authored them with ????

If it was Nero, it defaults with a 5 second pause between tracks. In your layout, after you add the clips, right click them and go to properties and change the 5 seconds to 0, you'll be fine then.

Ooops, my bad I was thnking VCD. Sorry. But if you used Nero, it may still act in this fashion.

But I still think you'll need to list out more info on your method for people to be able to constructively help.

Creating chapters doesn't mean you must use seperate mpeg's.
You use 1 mpeg, in which the chapters are defined. This way not pause will occurre between chapters...
