yoh, I found a source for cheap (as in inexpensive) dependable DVD-R discs. The brand is called Primedisc, and I found them from shop4tech.com. I have done some extensive testing on these discs using `Smartripper 2.4' to rip the VOB file, then using Ifoedit, and finally Prassi 2.0 for my movies using both the 4.7GB & 9.4GB DD discs.. unfortunately their 9.4GB discs are on backorder at the moment, but the sales person explained that they are expected to ship sometime at the end of this month. I now have a great collection of movies w/o having to spend a fortune as opposed to buying the overpriced Apple Media Discs. You can get a 25pack of primedisc dvd-r discs for a price of $1.36 each disc w/ jewel case. Just thought I'd let everyone know![]()

I usually have a wallet to store all my CDs and optical discs.
I know that Meritline.com sells DVD-Rs for $1.09 each. And if you give it a few more weeks it wil fall below a dollar per disc. Only catch behind this is that you have to buy in 80~100 pack spindles.
The good side about this deal is that US Continental shipping is FREE.
