  1. allright, im new to all of this, but could some of you guys tell me the specs and some of the programs you use for encoding to some of these formats like SxVCD or SeVCD or any other format please.

    This site is full with web pages packed with info, and applications to help you make VCDs XVCDs SVCDs XSVCDs miniDVDs and DVDs!!! Take a look around, and you will find what you are wanting to know...

  4. karter74, the two formats you mentioned (SxVCD/SeVCD) are both based on the VCD specs, the only diffrence is in the type of compression being used:
    SxVCD = MPEG2 VBR
    SeVCD = MPEG1 VBR

    Other then those changes, the rest of the settings are identical to a VCD.
