I've never gotten Nero to work for FF/RR for SVCD. I use only VCDEasy or TSCV.

  3. You could try downloading the update to 5.5.9.0 from www.nero.com
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."

Mine works ok but it is not that good as when you have been FF for a while it does not stop straight away so you have to RW a bit to recover the overrun. It might be down to your standalone not being happy with it.

  5. This seems to be a popular problem today!

First of all, and you using TMPGEnc to encode your file? If you are, the problem is that TMPGEnc doesnt add scan offsets. What you need to do is demux in TMPGEnc and mux in bbMPEG, using the SVCD settings. THen continue as normal.
