  1. I have a bunch of VOB files that are THX sound intros like you see in the movie theater. Well I got me a pioneer dvr-105 burner last week
I would like to put all the VOBs on one disk maybe with a menu (I like to use these for sound checks when I install a surround sound system)
Well I have DVDIT but it wont do VOB.Should I convert all if so how & in the convert will I loss the ac3
I also have Roxio video pack 5 it will convert the vob files just fine but I don’t think it does AC3 video pack 5 seems easiest to use. Has anyone ever got AC3 or DD5.1 audio to work on it?
I also tried IFoEdit that seems easy too no converting just make the ifo files & burn but I did not see a way to make menus with that.
Thanx in advance guys these forums Rock

Demultiplex the vobs and add the m2v video and the ac3 audio in videopack or dvdit pe(dvdit se do not support ac3) or spruceup and author/burn.

  3. Nope that dont work i was able to spit the Vob in Tmpg but vid pack or dvdit PE could not work with M2V files. files must have audio & video mix to work.

  4. Never used vidpack but I know for a fact that DVDit PE will accept DVD compliant .m2v (mpeg 2 video only) files as I do it all the time. However it will NOT accept 5channel .ac3 files, for this use Spruce up.
