after finally getting to grips with the capture card, i now find that the whole screen becomes jerky whilst trying to capture with the videowave software.
it does the same thing in the preview screen (whereby if i have my camcorder connected, the whole thing is just incredibly jerky).
have i maybe not correctly installed the thing (i did install all the software before inserting the card in)

the buz!
i have had so much trouble trying to capture quality video with that card. i still have it because it is a decent scsi card, and i hope to use the damn thing in the future.
anyhow, i don't know how to help you...turn off preview for one thing. i'll think of some more things...
