  4. I too gave up using this program because of the difficulties it presented but do remember workin round this one.

    Do you use TmpGenc to encode, and to NTSC format?
    If so, before encoding, load the NTSC DVD template, the load unlock.mcf from the extras folder. Click settings and go to the GOP structure tab. Ensure that 'Number of P Picture in GOP' is set to 4, not 5 and that output interval of sequence header is set to 1. Also use TmpGenc to encode video ONLY. Do not suplly DVDiT with a multiplexed mpeg program stream. Convert the audio to uncompressed wav, 48Khz and supply to DVDit seperatley.

    Hope this helps

  6. Assuming you encoding to mpeg from and avi source file do this:

    open the avi in virtualdub.
    Select
    Audio->full processing
    Audio->conversion (change to 48Khz if necessary)
    Audio->compression->PCM(no compression)

    File->save wav.

    you will now have a large wav file of the audio from your avi.

    Encode in TmpGenc as usual with the settings changes from my earlier post except the GOP setting for number P pictures in GOP is OK for PAL.
    Before encoding, select the radio button video only on the TmpGenc main page (bottom RH corenr). TmpGenc will automatically change the extension of the output file to .m2v. Leave it.

    Afet encoding open Dvdit. Add the movie as normal. In the same place add the .wav file. When you put your movie into the playlist, drag and drop the wav file over it.
    Then just build as normal. I cannot guarantee this will solve your problem but it solved a lot of mine.
