  1. I made my first SVCD with the "ALL IN WONDER RADEON" card then edit with TMPG 12h I recorder about 20 sec for a test when I saved the file and loded up with TMPG 12h and hit correct I did not edit the file just want to dupit again so NERO 5.5.2.4 would take it. When I got the second file it was 7.82megs the first file was 17.5megs. The new file was alot chopper. In the Radeon card it set it to 480*480. One other thing When recording the Mpeg 2 file im dropping 50% of frame rate. A 20 sec file is 17.5. I have a p2 400 I know i need a p3 but I just want to see if nero would take the file. do files get bigger when you drop frames?

  2. I think what happens when frames are dropped is that they are filled in using the previous captured frame.

This means the stutters you get take up space, so yes a 1 minute perfect movie will be the same size as a 1 minute movie with 50% of it's frames dropped.

    Frightening eh?
