I did a bit of reading up on the subject of the types of blank cd's available.
Here is my findings on the two major types:
Cynanine Dye....Lasts 20 yrs or more.....can be used on most players...better on lower speed burners (ie:12x and below).......Low $.
Phthalocynanine Dye.....Lasts 100 years or more.....can be played on some players......Can be burned on higher speed burners(ie:12x and above).......more $.
Does anyone have an opinion or anything to add?
