This is getting really frustrating. I'm new at this capturing stuff and need some help. I want to capture video from my VHS to convert it into a VCD. I have a pen 4, 120 gig HD, 512RAM, 1.4g and using the ATI 8500 all in wonder card.

    Here is my dilema:

I'm using Pinacle studio 6 to capture but this program freezes up everytime. Is there another program to use to capture? Also there is no sound, any reason for this?

    Please help.

  2. Have you tried to capture using ATI software? Virtualdub?

Thanks for the great info but I still do not know how to capture the sound. Also, what is the name of the program I use with the card?

I tried to use the defaulty program but it wont let me get to the VCR part to import video.

    PLEASE HELP

  7. For your sound capture, do you have your VCR hooked up to the sound card?
