I found one site selling 9.4G 2X DVD-R in 5 pack deal. I am wondering if this media can backup DVD movie without going through authoring process? What is double side? This mean I have to flip another side when one size is full? Can anyone try that before?. It was make from verbatim and http://www.hypermicro.com/store/index.htm is selling them. I have pioneer DVR-104 and compatable with the media according to verbatim. Any input ,thoughts ,and suggestions would be helpful.

    $12 a piece? No thanks.
CdRecordable.com has dual sided discs for $5 that I have had absolutly NO problems with.

Yes, you can back up DVD movies to these discs, and yes, you have to flip them during the movie.

  9. still more fun is to capture the movie in 10 minute segments, put it all together, encoding it, authoring it, and burnin it, all in a Pentium 200MMX, under f&%$in windows 98.

Ah! And don't forget the custom intro.

  10. Yeah, custom intro rules, but 10-minute segments? Sheeesh, dude, you got some time on your hands. I am struggling to get Win2K to work with my stuff just to avoid that!
