I've got these star Wars Movies on my hard drive one is 712 mb and the other is 730 mb. I've heard that you shouldn't zip video files but i just downloaded a divx trailer for Minority Report and it seemed ok. What i wanna do is burn the movies to a 700mb cd-r so i can gain some hd space. What can i do?...

well there's absolutely no reason why you couldn't zip a movie file, but i really doubt that it will help you that much. divx is extremely compressed as it is so i doubt if you will gain that much.
