  1. Hello fellow Mac aficionados!

Got a problem. I burnt a vcd that has been read by most laptops with a DVD drive. but an ibook with a DVD drive on it will not read it. not even recognize it.

I encoded it and burnt it with a iMac 600. A blue and white G3 350 mhz will not read it. It recognizes the file but the image and saound get frozen. But the G3 reads the original mpeg file no problem. I expected that G3 to read the VCD without a problem cuz I have edited video with less powerful computers before.
    HELP!

I think I've heard others talk about how G3's have many problems with VCD's and other forms of media like it. Maybe it's time to get a new dual ghz G4 tower!
