  1. I recieved a movie in vcd format, but now i need to convert it back to mpeg so i can burn it on to a dvd...Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Copy the dat file to your hard drive.....then convert with VCDgear GUI program back to mpg...find it at left under tools.......

    I know that TMPG will go from dat to mpg.....but its like reencoding....take buko long time....VCDgear takes maybe 5-10 minutes.

    VCD audio 44100Hz - DVD's like to see (hear) 48KHz

  5. Yes DVD will want MPEG2, 48khz audio (VCD is MPEG1, 44 khz audio). Be sure you convert with an MPEG encoder like TMPGenc.

  6. ok, is there a tutorial here to help teach me how to do that? I have the program already....thanks for your help so far....I tried to learn this on my own, but it just does not work that way
