Just wanted to let know, those who are curious, that Kwags newest template, is working great. Excellent Quality, dont sacrifice several hours of conversion time, and it looks so good. I used his template and followed his advice of changing CQ from 50 to 70 and it looks great, sharp, no blockiness, I highly appriciate the advice from this forum to try it out.

Obviously, not everyone will be able to use this, and it appears that some people dont get the same results as I did, but some people can benefit from Kwags newest template.

don't be suspicous, two cds, dvd quailty. Thats true. However I am trying to put dvd quailty on 2 cds and make it future dvd compatible so I don't have to reencode in the future.

This is proving to be a very difficult task as the advantage of kvcds is their long gop structures while dvd only support 15 frames per gop. I am curently trying to get dvd quailty on 2 cds, mpeg 2 of course. It's proving to be quite difficult and it may be even impossible but I will try as I really want future compatibility.

Also tmpegenc is coming up with a mpeg 2 nag screen which is very annoying.. any ideas????

  10. I tried downloading the KVCD template but my browser opened up the mcf file and it showed me all the settings. Should I right click and save to the template folder?

    YES!
