I have an Oritron dvd100,and have put in the region and vcd hacks.I still get no valid disc when I put in my vcd.I have used ulead dvd workshop and burned the vcd in the ntsc format.I also have nero installed and have used that to burn in the pal format and neither seems to work.I am hoping I am just missing something small.I have wasted 6 blank discs trying this and would like to find out what I am doing wrong before I waste any more.Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks

you could try checkin the compatability list on this site , and if you've already tried that , try changing your CDr to CD\RW or CDr Brand when I use CDr its always DATASAFE which I've found to be as compatable as it gets , but hey keep lookin keep tryin ..............and if you find the holy grail let me know
Eh!.......don't know why it's doing that, it worked perfectly well on my system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
Yes, I would try using CD-RW's.
The frequency of the DVD laser usually makes it unable to read CD-R's because of the type of dye used in making the disk, however CD-RW's often work ok.
