  1. I got this card tonight, I have been playing with it for a bit. So far quality while watching TV seems better than I had expected, Much better when I use my Digital Cable with S-Video. I am playing with capturing and making VCDs, this is my first call for help. I want the VCDs to look as good as some others I have seen from www.vcdhelp.com they have some s-vcd samples that are amazing.

Now, My other call for help is this. I love the TV guide and VCR that this card has. Where you can just click the show and say record, or watch etc. The only way I can make this work is if I use the coax straight to the card input and not through my digital cable box, but then I can only record shows that I get with normal cable. So what end up doing is having my coax split into the card and my cable box if I want to watch any of the channels that my cable box un-scrambles I have to use s-video or composite and I can't watch it with the TV guide or set it to record.

    Any suggestions?

I am having the same problems. I assume that there is no way to change the digital cable channels from your computer unless you get some type of remote hooked up to it right?
