Why does this board crash every few hours??

What's wrong with asking a legitimate question (granted, the symbolic expletives were unnecessary)? I too am curious on why this forum seemingly dies every so often. Maybe a weekly scheduled maintenance (ala Ebay Friday early mornings) would help.

it reminded me too much of the new user who asks a question and an hour later "bumps" his question with "WHY WON'T ANYONE ANSWER ME????" ... as if we are all paid to do this.

I guess the question is ok - it looked more like criticism to me - or mabye I read too much into it.

His time would be better spent emailing baldrick to see if there was some way he could help.

Board drivers? You think he has the wrong interrupt set on his phpBB PCI card? Maybe he should try another slot or switch to an older ISA board
