I have 2 different VIA chipset motherboards, both with ATI video capture cards(AIW 128 and 7500) and have no problems capturing with either motherboard. Make sure you have done the following and it should work for you.
1. Load and run the latest VIA 4in1 drivers.
2. Make sure nothing else uses the same IRQ as the ATI card.
3. Defrag your drive.
4. Turn off all other programs when capturing(check whats running in the background)
5. Check your BIOS settings.
6. Load and run the latest VIA 4in1 drivers.
