  1. My friend and i burned a vcd off of his computer using nero.....then we played it in my dvd player....and it worked fine. But When i try to burn a vcd from my computer(using nero) it wont work in my dvd player...why is that?
    please help

    Very vague on the description there. There could be a million different things that could cause that. Maybe some computer specs of the two systems would help. Did you use the exact same cd media? Burn speed the same? Were both standard VCD's with the same bitrate?

  3. sorry the description was a little vague.....um i have tried to burn several vcds....it says they work, but when i put them into my dvd player it wont work. what could be the problem? the settings on my nero were the same as his settings but it still wont read it on the dvd player.

  4. What is the make and model of your DVD player? And are you using CD/R or CD/RW's?

  5. i have a phillips dv910, that will play vcds, and i'am currently using cd-r's
    any suggestions?

    Try a cd-rw. My dvd player sometimes hangs on cd-r's, but does much better on cd-rw's. Plus if it doesn't work you can always erase it.
