If I go to the site it is either flagged by my virus scanner as not safe or I get the message:

    Not Found
The requested URL was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I guess your "virus scanner" / "internet """security""" suite" trusts lists containing false positives placed there by malicious people.

I have had the same virus scanner for 5 years and never had this problem before. They report some problem with their SSL certificate.

I tried the link above in Firefox and Edge on Windows 10, with Windows Defender, didn't see any issues

It could be the browser is converting all address to use https:
Notice the above link is http only

  6. I only tried FireFox so far.
I have Avast for an antivirus.
    No warnings from it.
I also have Spybot S&D with the TeaTimer enabled & no warnings from it.

This is what FireFox itself had & I suspect what your AV is reporting about:

Okay, in the end I figured out it is just the normal anti-http process either by the browser or the virus scanner. It happens like that for a while now when I visit a http link. It displays warning and even if I press ignore the page is not displayed for this and that reason. I have some http sites as well the same with those.
