Man, this is audio sync issue is just driving me up the friggin wall! I have several MPEGS encoded with TMPGenc with varied bitrates. All of them playback with proper a/v sync. Even playback with preview remote from within Ulead DVD Wrkshp is all good. Until I try to create an image. When the program is reencoding my files (absolutely the most annoying feature of this product) it is hosing the a/v sync. This is with the "patch" applied to supposedly fix this prob. No matter what I do, I even tried setting the lowest possible audio and video bitrate, and the temp MPEG files that it dumps before burning are still out of sync! Ulead is no help, anybody? Please? I have tried all the suggestions on this board to no avail. Is there any way to replace the temp MPG files that the program is creating with the original ones, then recreate the image? Hmmm. I might have to play around with this concept. ANY suggestions are most welcome. Thx.![]()

What are you trying to create? My experience with DVD WorkShop is limited to DVDs. In my case, if the mpeg 2 file audio bit rate matches the DVD WorkShop Template audio bit rate and the video data rate is <= video data rate in the DVD WorkShop template the file will not be reencoded. The audio sync patch worked for me.
