Some years ago i am 100% certain that i had a lowpass/highpass filter applied on my MPC player, so i could filter out "noise" on a videofile. But i cant seem to find that filter now on Windows 10. If i remember correct there was some "blue" and "red" icon for the filter pack with black text on them in the start menu, and when i started MediaPlayerClassic file, the filter started automatically so i could just choose "Lowpass filter" and adjust it to be aggressive with lower audio level, or medium for 50/50 tradeoff.
Does anyone have a filter like this for VLC or know how i could get it back on MPC?I recorded over a few VHS tapes and preferred to transfer them
using the High Quality audio mode even though there are some noise on the audio, so would be nice to apply a playback filter to enjoy the tape on computer with good quality.
